The 2016 Le Mans 24 Hours in the cinema and in live streaming on myACO


On Thursday 24th November 2016 the premier of the official film of the 2016 Le Mans 24-Hours race will take place in the Mega CGR in Saint-Saturnin-Le Mans at 20:00. Numerous distinguished guests will participate in this exceptional evening organised by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest. You can attend this event in person in Le Mans or enjoy it in live streaming on myACO.

In three days fans everywhere can relive the 2016 Le Mans 24 Hours thanks to the screening of the premier of the official film of the race. Numerous distinguished guests are expected to attend this exceptional evening in the Le Mans CGR cinema in the Saint-Saturnin commune for the debate with the public that will follow the film.

In exclusivity, all the surfers who are unable to come to Le Mans can enjoy this great evening and see the film live on myACO, the ACO’s digital community, which uses an innovative portal devoted to auto-mobility, at 20:00 in French or in English. Each surfer will have to create his/her account beforehand to follow the event.


Here is the programme of the evening at which numerous distinguished guests are expected: 

The festivities will begin at 17:00 with an exceptional “baptism” on the Bugatti circuit for a member of the ACO and two surfers who took part in the game launched on 9th November. In turn, each of the three lucky winners will be driven by Porsche works driver Neel Jani, victorious in the Le Mans 24 Hours in June in the no. 2 Porsche 919 Hybrid, in a Porsche from the Porsche Driving School.

All the fans of the Le Mans 24 Hours and motor sport in general can then go to the official Le Mans 24-Hours boutique at the circuit entrance at 17:45 for a unique autograph session in the presence of: Neel Jani (Porsche), Dirk Müller, works Ford driver, winner of the LM GTE Pro category in the 2016 Le Mans 24 Hours, Julien Canal (driver from Le Mans who raced in the 2016 Le Mans 24 Hours with Greaves Motosport in LM P2) and the three drivers in the SRT41 By OAK Racing team, Frédéric Sausset, Christophe Tinseau and Jean-Bernard Bouvet.
This is an ideal opportunity to have your annual the official book telling the story of the 85th Le Mans 24 Hours or the DVD of the film on sale in the boutique, autographed and personalised.

All the distinguished guests will attend the debate organised in the presence of Pierre Fillon, the ACO President, after the screening of the film in the Méga CGR Le Mans. They will be joined by Stéphane Sarrazin, works Toyota LM P1 driver (2nd in the 2016 Le Mans 24 Hours), Pascal Vasselon (Toyota technical director), Hugues de Chaunac (Oreca Group CEO), Loic Duval (Audi Sport Team Joest driver in LM P1), Timothé Buret (Panis Barthez Competition driver in LM P2)  and Vincent Capillaire from Le Mans (driver in the So24 team).

At the end of this debate the official film of the 84th Le Mans 24 Hours will be on sale in the official Le Mans boutiques and selected sales outlets.
