The FIA Formula E Championship continued its South American adventure as Bruno Senna and Alejandro Agag took part in the official launch ceremony of the Buenos Aires ePrix at La Rural Convention Center in the Argentine capital.

They were joined on stage for the official press conference by Marcelo Figoli, president of Fenix Entertainment Group; Carlos Garcia Remohi, President of the Automobile Sports Commission at Automovil Club Argentino and Horacio Rodriguez Larreta, Mayor of the City of Buenos Aires.

Senna said of the Puerto Madera event, which takes place on February 6, 2015: “The Buenos Aires circuit is one of the most interesting for the challenges it presents to the drivers. Moreover, it is a beautiful city, and its people are very warm to us. We look forward to have an unforgettable spectacle.”

Formula E CEO Agag added: “Buenos Aires is a very important appointment for us all, because the city had already consented to the race when Formula E was still just an idea and had not even drawn a sketch of our cars. Last year was a wonderful experience and we are confident that this year will be even better.”

Following an impressive opening video, Mayor Larreta said: “We are excited to host one more time this international event, which focuses on the same values we work on in the city; sustainability and innovation.”
