The deep and dark sand of Valkenswaard has been a hard stage for Valentin Guillod.
Although the sand is not his favorite terrain, he made a great recover, showing he is increasing the feeling with his YZF450. During the last weeks Valentin trained hard in order to improve his skill on sand.
These two days has been conditioned by the hostile weather conditions which have made heavier the track ground.
ENG – VG92: “In the first race, I made a good start in the top 10, I maintained this position for almost the entire round. I was not able to defend this position till the end. I finished in 12th place.
In race 2, unfortunately I fell at the start, near the first corner. I recovered from the 40th place and finished in 16th position. During the race I tumbled two times, it’s a shame because I could have done a little better. The good thing is that I felt a good attitude on the bike.
I finished in 13th place on the overall and I am currently 11th in the World Championship.
I’d like to thank my team Kemea Yamaha and all my sponsors for support me. Next step will be Argentina.”
