Monza, 31st august – Garage Italia’s committment in the world of competitions continues as well as its desire to support young talents. After the creation of the Team Squadra Corse Garage Italia Americas which is currently engaged in the Pirelli World Challenge GT Series with Martin Fuentes and Caesar Bacarella, after Amna Al Qubaisi’s sponsorship in FIA F4 and after the launch of the partnership with Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team and Charles Leclerc, the creative hub founded and managed by Lapo Elkann has chosen Giuliano Alesi – son of the former F1 racing driver Jean Alesi – as the standard-bearer of Garage Italia in the GP3 Series.
He followed his father’s steps, Giuliano Alesi brought back to the track the colors belonging to his father’s helmet – who was so fast – that set his Italian and foreign supporters on fire, by getting a win during the first race of the season.
From this weekend Monza round, Garage Italia’s logo on his single-seater will lead the French driver until the end of the championship and during the fight to achieve the Top 3 in the general ranking.
