Kessel Racing Unveils Official Line-ups in Four Championships

Kessel Racing, fresh off a successful 2024-2025, is revving up for another action-packed year. With twelve cars lined up, the team is ready to get its Ferraris back on track in the European Le Mans Series (ELMS), Michelin Le Mans Cup (MLMC), GT World Challenge Europe (GTWC) and Ferrari Challenge Europe.

Capping off the racing calendar will be the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where Kessel Racing is proud of being invited to compete. Japanese driver Takeshi Kimura will be back to the absolute highlight of the Endurance season for the seventh time. Daniel Serra, Kimura’s team-mate at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2023, again with Kessel Racing, will also be in the #57 Car Guy Ferrari 296 LMGT3.

In the ELMS, the #57 and #74 Ferrari 296 LMGT3s will take on the spotlight. After very nearly winning the ELMS in the LMGT3 Class last year, the #57 Car Guy Ferrari 296 LMGT3 will be piloted by Takeshi Kimura, returning to this championship for the fourth consecutive season, and Ferrari Factory Brazilian driver Daniel Serra. The two regulars behind the wheel will be joined by the young British talent Ben Tuck, who impressed with Kessel Racing in the GT World Challenge last season and began the year with a victory at the 24 Hours of Dubai.
On the other hand, the second Ferrari 296 LMGT3 with the number 74 will feature British driver Andrew Gilbert and his Spanish team-mate from last season Fran Rueda, who return after competing in the 2024 Michelin Le Mans Cup. Completing the trio will be none other than Miguel Molina, Ferrari Factory driver who triumphed in the Ferrari 499P winning at Le Mans 24 Hours last year.

The #8 and #74 Ferrari 296 GT3s will contest the GT World Challenge Europe. Nicolò Rosi, Niccolò Schirò and David Fumanelli will be on board of the #8, while the car #74 will be driven by Dustin Blattner and Dennis Marschall – GTWC Bronze Cup vice-champions in 2024 – alongside Conrad Laursen, debuting this year with Kessel Racing. Both cars will compete in the Endurance Cup, but Dustin Blattner and Dennis Marschall in the #74 will race also the Sprint Cup, marking the return of Kessel Racing to the full season after seven years of absence.

The #17 and #33 Ferrari 296 GT3s will take on the competition in the Michelin Le Mans Cup. Behind the wheel of the #17 will be Lorenzo Innocenti, joining Kessel Racing for the first season, and Andrea Belicchi, experienced LMP1 driver. Meanwhile, the #33 will see David Fumanelli and Murat Cuhadaroglu return for their fifth year together.

The starts of the Ferrari Challenge will be the Ferrari 296 Challenge machines of veterans Henry Hassid – 2024 Coppa Shell Champion and winner of the World title – and Fons Scheltema, together with Stephen Earle and Jan Benedikt Sandmann – respectively joining Kessel Racing for the third and second consecutive season – alongside new entries Francesco Galli and Oscar Ryndziewicz.

Bold and willing to push boundaries, the team is determined and ready to stand out exceeding every expectation. The championships are about to start but our engines are fired up and we are ready for a high-speed season.
