Teo Martín Motorsport has officially presented its 2015 racing programme during an event in Madrid. A stalwart squad in Spanish racing in the 80s and 90s, the squad has chosen the International GT Open for its official return to the tracks. As announced, it will campaign the series with a brand new McLaren 650S entrusted to Miguel Ramos and Alvaro Parente.
Both drivers are established references in GT racing, and Parente is a McLaren works driver. No doubt that the Lusitanian pair will be one of the favorites in the title’s race. The team will also have technical support from the Woking-based constructor.
The presentation event in Madrid was attended by many representatives of Spanish motorsports and media, including Carlos Gracia, the FIA Vice President and RFEA President.
It is likely that Teo Martín Motorsport will enter a second car in the GT Open, with an other top-level pair, that could be announced ahead of the Ricard season-opener.
