Third collector’s edition poster takes us to the heart of the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa

The Prologue to the 2025 CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa brought confirmation of a new GT era record, with 76 cars set to compete in the 77th edition of the legendary race. What’s more, it also saw the third of four collector’s edition posters revealed ahead of the 25–29 June event.

While the second poster focussed on the night, the third concentrates on rain. After all, what would Spa-Francorchamps be without the weather, which is as capricious as it is legendary? In more than 100 years, the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa has witnessed only a handful of entirely dry editions; indeed, since the first running in 1924, rain has often added to the spectacle. The catalyst for moments of brilliance and a few improbable plot twists, it is without question an integral part of the race.

This collector’s edition poster also highlights Maserati. The Trident recently became a partner of GT World Challenge powered by AWS, supplying the series’ Leading Car and the Safety Car. This is an especially important role at the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, where safety car neutralisations bring renewed interest. Between teams making strategic calls and the field regrouping, fans know they must pay close attention. When the commentator’s pitch rises and we hear those famous words – “safety car in this lap” – everyone is on the edge of their seat.

Behind the Maserati, two legendary brands are ready to resume racing. Among the 10 manufacturers that will take the start on Saturday 28 June, we know that both Ford and McLaren will be crowd favourites. In 2024, the Blue Oval made its return to the event after a 12-year absence. With spectacular looks and a unique sound, the Mustang GT3 will be entered by the experienced HRT team. The objective will be to build upon the experience gained last year and secure the Detroit giant its seventh victory at the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa – and its first during the GT era.

A prestigious name that has won in virtually every discipline it has entered, McLaren is yet to taste success at the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa. It’s a gap in the brand’s list of honours that needs to be filled. In addition to a trio of British teams – Garage 59, Optimum Motorsport and Team RJN – McLaren can also count on a new addition. CSA Racing has joined the fold this year, and it is the French squad’s car that features on the poster. Never before has the line-up of 720S GT3 EVOs appeared so strong at the Belgian endurance classic.

Will it be enough to improve upon the seventh place that McLaren scored in 2021, which remains the brand’s best result to date? The answer will be known by 16:30 on Sunday 29 June when the checkered flag falls on the 77th edition. Be sure to join the festivities, witness the on-track spectacle, see the exhibitions and experience the concerts by ordering your tickets !
