Second Winter Series day at the Circuito de Jerez, slightly different as rain appeared – a valuable experience for the drivers- today but, at least, the fourth and final session took place in dry conditions. Yu Kanamaru played a dominant role today as the driver of the Land of the Rising Sun finished on top each and every session. He set a fastest lap time of 1:49.761 in wet conditions and then, on dry track, he improved to clock a 1:36.931.
Behind, second on the timesheet, Alessio Rovera (Team West-Tec) performed extremely well again and his time was just two tenths slower. Konstantin Tereschenko (Campos Racing) posted third time today and, in the cumulative rankings, the Russian remained on top with his lap set yesterday. Italy´s Leonardo Pulcini (DAV Racing) and Diego Menchaca (Campos Racing) round the top-five.
After two days, with Tereschenko emerging as the fastest man on track, Rovera, Kanamaru, Yarin Stern (Team West-Tec) and Menchaca also finished inside the top-5.
