Second consecutive season for the Colombian racer in the Euroformula Open and Barbosa strives to improve his results
The young pilot from Villavicencio (Colombia) William Barbosa will join Italy´s BVM Racing as the American youngster will participate in the Euroformula Open again. After completing two days of collective test at the Circuito de Jerez with the team of Giuseppe Mazzotti, Barbosa obtained good results and excellent understanding with the whole team. Barbosa will face the second season on the European motorsports scene and the second in the Euroformula Open as well.
“I am very happy to have signed with a team as experienced as BVM Racing, a team where I can gain valuable knowledge for my career. In the tests carried out in Jerez I got a very good impression of the method of work. I hope to be fighting for the top positions and be protagonist”, Barbosa underlined.
“I think William has done a good job in Jerez test. There was progress in each session and I think we can do a good championship. We will give all our capacity so together we can make a good season and get the expected results”, Giuseppe Mazzotti, owner of BVM Racing, added.
Barbosa will drive one of the BVM Racing´s Dallaras again at Paul Ricard, on 6-7 March, where the second Winter Series event takes place.
