Racing the last MX2 seasons with team Standing Construct, on KTM in 2014 and Yamaha this year, Valentin Guillod will wear new colours next season. After his team delivered a press release explaining that both parties’ parts away, Valentin explained the situation and his future in the MXGP class.
“We reached this summer an agreement for next season, but recently the team informed me that they will change our organisation, my winter training program and also asked me to change other things. We never talked about this before, and as I didn’t agree with their new options we decided to part away. We’re currently working with Yamaha to find a solution for next season, and I’m confident; I’m still training at the moment for the Supercross of Genoa, Lille and Geneva, and I will race these events on a very good 450 Yamaha. In my opinion racing Supercross is also a good training for a Motocross rider, and I’ve a lot of fun training on SX tracks. I want to thanks team Standing Construct, we reached some good results during two seasons and I wish them good luck for the futuree, even if I’m disappointed buy the way our relationship ends.”
